Participation in international contest “Roca International Design Contest 2008-2009” “JUMP THE GAP”

Jump the gap represents Roca's support for future generations of designers. With the third International Design Contest, Roca is proud to provide a platform for talented young designers, architects and interior designers. "Jump the gap" offers the opportunity to create and design innovative solutions for the bathroom and it's associated products. The Roca International Design Contest is aimed at creative people who think towards the future whilst designing today. Roca looking for designs that can bring forth their vision of conceptually innovative bathroom products and solutions: new products, new spaces and/or new uses and functions. "Jump the gap" is a creative contest proposal that brings new and innovative concepts to the bathroom, understanding innovation as the anticipation of users' new desires and needs, as well as the transformation of dreams and desires into reality.

Project of bath equipment «MOUNTAINOUS BROOK».

This bath equipment represents single integral complex that consists of 3 main bath units: sink, shower booth, lavatory pan. All the objects are united into one single construction made of ceramics and glass. Complex has plastic curved form that reminds streams or ribbons of water. The complex is a prototype of mountainous brook and waterfall. Water motifs are also used in forms and materials of details. So plastic shape of this complex, water motifs and forms, materials reminding water create natural atmosphere. It allows making process of having shower real enjoyment.
